Polished Pilbara Agate PA283 rare agate A polished slab of StarryPA283 Pilbara Agate , cut and polished on one side with a rough, natural back. Dimensions at widest points are approximately 110 mm x 60 mm x 60 mm. thick. Weighs 629 grams. Studies have shown that these are probably the oldest agates in the world with an age in excess of 2 billion years. They occur in the Maddina Formation in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
